LE TENA ETHIOPIAN RESTAURANT
LeTena is a new Ethiopian fast/casual restaurant located in the fast growing Columbia Heights neighborhood. The restaurant will consist of seating for 80 people with the ability to have private dining and parties. Drawing on rich and complex flavors of Ethiopian cuisine, the menu offers distinctly spiced vegetarian and meat dish variety consisting of vegetable, legume and meat in the form of stew or stir-fry, served on gluten free flat bread (injera), made out of fermented teff flour. Diners pick entrees and side dishes and eat with their hands and use a piece of injera to eat with. However, for diners who prefer to use utensils, LeTena offers the option of serving the entrees in the form of stuffed rolls.
